LI Flies “Albie Whore” Flies

Tied by Mike “LI Flies” Ozkaya, right here on Long Island, NY. The “Albie Whore” is a fly designed by Richard Reagan. As the name implies, this is an excellent fly for False Albacore, however it also works great for stripers, bluefish, and many other species. Sometimes, having a fly that stands out from the massive concentrations of bay anchovies and spearing is a great way to get an albie to eat during blitz, and that’s what this fly does very well. Tied on a strong 1/0 Mustad C70SD hook.
